The Season Pass will allow you to download the 4 planned DLC map packs for CoD:BO2. It will only expire/become invalid after you have downloaded the 4th and final map pack.

It will last for the season that is Blops 2. Yes the maps stay on your console fella.

It lasts until you have downloaded all 4 dlc. You can always reinstall pass and dlc if you delete them. The pass basically buys the dlc for free so you can install them. (By free I mean the £40 you spent.) it's like this on ps3 at least.

The season pass entitles you to the 4 dlc's linked with the pass once you download them the dlc is linked as purchased to your specific gamercard and can be downloaded again anytime you want eg being if you get a new Xbox you will not need to buy again as long as you recover your gamercard

Not sure for ps3 but when you buy online content from Xbox live your gamertag get a digital licence for that specific content that licences your profile and that specific console to use the content!
If you need a new console or try to play the content from hdd on a friends console that is not connected to live it will not allow you to use it because no licence can be found!

either your profile has to be connected to live or the licence transfered to the new console!

By this I figure that the licence is basically proof of purchase therefore its linked to your account forever!!

Oh okay. Ya, I don't think it's the same for PS3. I believe it is saved to which PS3 downloaded it on.

SEASON PASS = 4 MAP PACK DOWNLOADS for BLOPS2

Nothing else. They don't cut you off after a year or a season. You bought 4 map packs. You get 4 map packs. Once there downloaded the "Season Pass" has no other purpose. Unless you want to delete them and reinstall them.

Yes it saves the map pack on your hard drive. It is also linked to your gamertag. So if your XBOX/ PS3 dies, you should still be able to use it on a new machine. I would also assume if you use someone else machine. If you recover your gamer tag on there machine you should still be able to download it, but only play it with that gamer tag or one that has the map packs.

on Ps3 you can actually go on another machine or give your friend your gt and password then they could download it and use it as well don't matter if there is 6 accounts on their machine. Had people trying to get me to give them my password but that is not happening. I did have a guy give me his for the godfather 2 when it was popular i got all maps and gun packs with it not having to pay so it it not license linked to anything unless it has changed but i doubt it as people still ask. And i am able to use mine on my sub accounts so there is no limit there either. the only link i see is is downloads so it can be re downloaded in future if something happens
